Bidvest Bank is a South African bank that is changing the way people and businesses view financial solutions.
Our challenge was to align their ‘Let’s get it done’ philosophy to their website design and functionality.
We knew that, particularly in the financial services space, a strong UX strategy was imperative. We conducted interviews with stakeholders to understand business goals and success metrics, interviewed potential clients and users across the spectrum, and explored the banking sector deeply, focusing on in-store and online user experience.
We created personas to suit each audience, before designing wireframes which were tested on business banking clients, personal banking clients and travelling clients across both web and mobile. High fidelity prototypes were then iterated, tested again and finally, developed into the corporate responsive website.
The site was complex with many points of information. It lacked information architecture, conversion funnels and a brand narrative. We created clear calls to action, tactical “red routes” and definitive messaging. Unfortunately, the site is yet to be launched due to internal reasons.
